John Deere Boosts Production Capacity in Las Rosas Plant with $15 Million Investment

A multinational corporation to increase plant capacity by 50%

John Deere recently announced plans to launch significant upgrades at its plant in Las Rosas, Santa Fe in April. Following a $15 million investment, the company will increase its production capacity for sprayers and seeders by 50%. The Las Rosas plant is part of an ambitious program implemented by John Deere in Argentina over the past decade, with a total investment of over $265 million.

Sergio Fernandez, president of Industries John Deere Argentina, emphasized that the investment is a key milestone for the company and a commitment to utilizing technology and optimizing processes in the agricultural sector. The upgrades include new buildings, painting and assembly line improvements, as well as enhancements to processes, systems and logistics.

John Deere has been manufacturing in Argentina for over 65 years and is committed to supporting production and development in the country. The company produces all the main equipment necessary for agricultural production in Argentina and employs over 3,200 direct employees. They also have an exclusive dealer network and numerous national suppliers. Additionally, John Deere is the main exporting company and employer in the sector.
