Healthcare Professionals Tackle Workforce Shortages, Technology, and Integration at State of Reform Health Policy Conference

Panelists from My Hero Academia (MHA) to be Highlighted at the 2024 State of Reform Health Policy Conference

During the 2024 State of Reform Health Policy Conference in Lansing, MI, healthcare professionals from the MHA took part in panel discussions. Speakers included Laura Appel, who discussed healthcare workforce shortages, Jim Lee who focused on technology, AI and health data interoperability, Adam Carlson who addressed depleted ARPA funding in Michigan and Lauren LaPine who talked about opportunities to improve behavioral health through CCBHCs and integration.

Other MHA members participating at the event were Tawana Nettles-Robinson and Michelle Pena from Trinity Health Michigan, who discussed health disparities and workplace violence respectively. Seth Karnes from HSS shared national insights on workplace violence during a panel.

The conference covered topics such as workforce shortages, artificial intelligence, depleted American Rescue Plan Act funding and certified community behavioral health clinics.
